Philosophy

I empower my clients to make changes that can take them from surviving to thriving.

Together, we identify and reduce stressors in and around food. Eating right does not need to be difficult, or a self-defeating struggle. I teach my clients to enjoy nourishing foods. The stress dissipates by providing a light framework for meal planning and realistic goals that are attainable in any situation.

While everyone deserves to feel great and have their body function optimally, it can be challenging to do so without having the proper tools and knowledge.  We live in an age where we are surrounded by an abundance of conflicting information. We are over-exposed to pop-culture nutrition, and the marketing of diets and miracle fixes. It can become overwhelming to know what's right for you. I will guide you to health and wellness by using science-based research and years in clinical practice.

I don't believe in quick fixes, but instead focus on lasting changes that shift your life toward thriving. I empower you to make bright choices with foods that will get you feeling your best. Eating real foods, the way nature intended us to eat, can do wonders for the body. When making informed choices, nutrition can heal hormones, reduce excess body fat, and dramatically increase your life experience.

Many women fall victim to symptoms and come to accept living with unnecessarily poor health. Well, I won't settle for that and neither should you. With professional guidance in both nutrition and lifestyle shifts, you can learn a better normal… a life that is not dependent on sugar and caffeine throughout the day.

My functional nutrition approach combines the healing power of food with shifts in lifestyle and behavior. I build individualized plans, unique to your current state of health, and wellness goals with bio-individual strategy. Together, we pave the way for a truly bright mind, body and spirit.

My Mission

Elizabeth

It is my life passion to guide women in balancing their hormones, healing their gut and creating a strong metabolism. I believe, when mothers are thriving the family is thriving! I have spent years counseling clients in a world-class functional medicine clinic, Shine Natural Medicine, in Solana Beach. I work along side doctors and see first hand the power of functional medicine and taking a multifaceted “root cause” approach to health. I have a deep understanding of the complex interplay between the way we eat, think and live, and the way our bodies react on a physical level. I have now counseled over a thousand women and find great joy in seeing my clients achieve their personal wellness goals.
